These Terms are a binding agreement between you and The Beer App. By downloading or using the app you agree to them.

Eligibility

You must be of legal drinking age in your jurisdiction to use The Beer App. The app is age-gated and is not intended for anyone under that age.

Your account & content

Keep your credentials secure; you're responsible for activity on your account, and you can delete it at any time in Settings. You keep ownership of what you post and grant us a limited licence to host and display it solely to operate the app. You must have the right to share anything you post.

Acceptable use & zero tolerance for objectionable content

Do not post content that is illegal, hateful, harassing, threatening, sexually explicit, or violent, or that infringes others' rights, and no spam, scams, or impersonation. We have zero tolerance for objectionable content and abusive behavior. You can report content and block users in the app; we review reports and act — typically within 24 hours — including removing content and suspending or terminating accounts. This also serves as our EULA for user-generated content.

Subscriptions, auto-renewal & cancellation

The Beer App is a paid subscription. Plans are Basic ($1/month or $11/year) and Premium ($2/month or $20/year), billed through the App Store or Google Play (or Stripe where card billing is offered), and they automatically renew at the then-current price until you cancel.

You can cancel at any time, and cancelling is as easy as subscribing — no phone calls, no retention hoops. Manage or cancel in your App Store or Google Play subscription settings, or via the in-app "Manage subscription" option. Cancellation stops future renewals at the end of the current period; you keep access until then.

Free trials, if offered, convert to a paid subscription automatically unless you cancel before the trial ends (for App Store trials, at least 24 hours before it ends). Turn off renewal in your store settings any time during the trial.

Refunds

Purchases through the App Store or Google Play are subject to those stores' refund policies and handled by them. Email support@thebeerapp.app and we'll help where we can.

Disclaimers & liability

The app is provided "as is" without warranties. To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect or consequential damages, or for user conduct or content. Please drink responsibly — you are responsible for your own choices, and nothing in the app is medical or safety advice.

Governing law & changes

These Terms are governed by the laws of the jurisdiction where the operator of The Beer App is established. We may update these Terms; we'll post the new date here, and continued use means you accept the changes.
